What Is a Founding Member?

GlutenChat is a new kind of platform for people with celiac disease and gluten sensitivity. Unlike Yelp or Find Me Gluten Free, our Trust Score algorithm weights reviews from medically diagnosed celiacs higher than lifestyle gluten-free diners. This means the safety ratings you see are actually meaningful for people with real celiac disease.

We're in our founding phase — which means the first 200 members have a unique opportunity to shape the platform. Founding Members help seed the restaurant database, set community standards, and earn permanent recognition for being here first.

What Founding Members Get

• Permanent Founding Member Badge — A permanent badge on your profile that shows you were here from the beginning. This badge is never available after the founding period closes.
• Elevated Review Weight — Your restaurant reviews carry extra weight in the Trust Score algorithm — permanently.
• Free Premium Access — Founding Members get free access to all premium features for the first year — including the full Trust Score breakdown and advanced restaurant filters.
• Direct Input on Features — Founding Members are invited to a private feedback group where you can vote on upcoming features and report issues directly to the GlutenChat team.

What We Ask of Founding Members

We're not asking for money — we're asking for your knowledge. Specifically, we'd love for you to:

• Add at least 3 restaurants in your city to the GlutenChat directory
• Write honest reviews based on your personal celiac experience
• Verify the dedicated fryer status at restaurants you visit
• Share GlutenChat with one other celiac you know
